A CCTV image has been released by officers investigating an assault on two teenagers in Rainham.
The incident was reported to have happened in Station Road on Sunday 21 July between 9pm and 9.15pm.
During the assault a man is alleged to have approached a 17-year-old boy before he punched him in his face and then pulled a chain from his neck, which caused the jewellery to break.
The suspect then punched a 17-year-old girl in her head, which made her fall to the ground and caused her to sustain concussion.
Following the incident officers have carried out several lines of enquiry, including reviewing CCTV, and are now keen to talk to the man pictured who may have important information about the incident.
If anyone recognises him they should call the dedicated appeal line for Kent Police on 01634 792209, quoting reference 46/120881/24.
