CCTV images of two people have been released by officers investigating an alleged hate-related incident in a Canterbury business.
It was reported that between 5.10pm and 5.15pm on 4 May 2024, a group of people were verbally abused by two shoppers while in Siesta in Palace Street.
The shoppers had reportedly become aggressive while waiting to be served in the shop and the abuse was understood to be racially aggravated.
As part of their enquiries into the public order incident, officers have been able to obtain CCTV images of a man and a woman they would like to identify, as they may have information which could assist the investigation.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, or is able to identify the two people in the images, should call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting 46/73404/24.
