CCTV released following reports of an assault in Maidstone

A CCTV image has been released by officers investigating reports of an assault in Maidstone.

Officers were flagged down at around 3.30am on Friday 1 January 2026 on the High Street to a man who had been injured.

It is reported that two men got into an altercation, which resulted in one suffering facial and head injuries.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing and officers are now able to release an image of a person who may be able to assist them in their enquiries.
