Officers investigating a robbery in Canterbury have released CCTV.
The incident was reported to have taken place in Dane John Gardens between 2am and 3am on Friday 19 May 2023.
It is alleged that a group of people, in their late teens and early twenties, were approached by an unknown man and threatened.
Two of the victims reported their phones and bank cards stolen along with a pair of headphones. They fled the area and described being followed briefly before the suspect turned and headed back towards the park.
Detectives from the Kent Crime Squad have carried out a number of enquiries since the robbery was reported, which includes the review of all available CCTV.
They have now released two images of the same man who they believe could have important information to assist with this case.
Anyone who recognises this man or has any information and has not yet been in touch should call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting reference 46/88694/23. You can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 or complete the online form at this link.
