A renewed appeal for dashcam footage has been issued following a fatal collision near Faversham.
On the evening of Sunday 6 November 2022, a blue Kia Rio collided with a tree after it left the coastbound A299 Thanet Way, between Brenley Corner roundabout and Whitstable.
The time of the collision has not been confirmed but the car was seen on its side just before 8.20pm on that day.
An 18-year-old man from Whitstable sustained injuries and was taken to a London hospital where he sadly died.
Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is carrying out enquiries and officers are appealing to anyone who saw what happened to come forward.
Investigators are specifically asking motorists with dashcam, who were travelling on the A299 Thanet Way between 7.50pm and 8.25pm on Sunday 6 November, to check for footage that may assist.
Anyone with information should call the SCIU appeal line on 01622 798538, or email [email protected], quoting reference JW/COJ/120/22.
Drivers with dashcam can upload the footage here.
