Witnesses are sought by officers investigating the death of a pedestrian who was injured during a collision in Maidstone.
The 79-year-old man was struck by a vehicle on 15 August 2024 and has now recently died in hospital.
The collision involved a black Ford Focus and happened at around 10.40am in King Street.
The victim had been crossing the road with a woman, who was also injured but has since been discharged from hospital.
The driver stopped at the scene and has been assisting police with their enquiries.
Detective Constable Jim Galbraith said:
‘The victim had been walking from outside Boots and in the direction of the King Street carpark when the collision happened. He sadly died in hospital on 26 October, and we are now appealing to anyone who may have seen this incident to contact us. 'We are also asking drivers who were in this area to check any dashcams which may retain important footage.’
