Witnesses are sought following a collision in Ashford.
At around 11.35am on Tuesday 26 July 2022, a black BMW was travelling on the A2070 Bad Munstereifel Road when it was in collision with a white Citroen Berlingo van travelling in the opposite direction.
The driver of the van was at the junction with Barrey Road and was turning into the retail park at the time of the incident.
Police attended, along with the South East Coast Ambulance Service, and a woman in her 40s who was travelling as a passenger in the BMW was taken to hospital where she later died.
Officers from Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing to any further witnesses, who have not yet come forward, who saw the incident, or who has dashcam footage that could help their enquiries, to contact them.
Anyone with information should call the appeal line on 01622 798538, quoting reference XX/VS/087/22. You can also email investigators on [email protected]
