Appeal - fatal collision in Gillingham

Witnesses and dashcam footage are sought following a fatal collision in Gillingham.

At around 9.20pm on Friday 24 November 2023, a blue BMW M3 convertible was travelling along Pier Road, when it was involved in a collision with a pedestrian near the junction with Mariners View.

The pedestrian, a man in his 60s, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital where he died on Sunday 24 December.

Appeal

Officers from Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the vehicle beforehand, to call the SCIU witness appeal line on 01622 798538 or email the SCIU team, quoting SM/SS/125/23.
