Witnesses and dashcam footage are sought following a fatal collision in Hythe.
Kent Police was called to Hythe Road in Pedlinge at 6.26pm on Monday 3 August, after a blue Ford Fiesta had collided with a tree.
Officers attended along with Kent Fire and Rescue Service and SECAMB, but the driver, an 80 year old man from Romney Marsh, was pronounced deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision is being led by the Serious Collision Investigation Unit and they would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the moments before.
