Fatal collision on A2 near Faversham

Dashcam footage and witnesses are sought by officers investigating a fatal collision on the A2 near Faversham.  

A motorcyclist died following the collision, which happened on the Boughton Bypass, at around 3.30pm on Saturday 19 August 2023.

The incident was at a location close to Brenley Corner roundabout and involved a black Aprilia motorcycle and a grey Skoda Fabia.

Police and ambulance crews attended, and a man aged in his 50s was confirmed deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

Enquiries are being carried out by the Serious Collision Investigation Unit. Motorists who were in the area are urged to check for any dashcam footage, which may assist the investigation.
