Investigators are seeking witnesses to a fatal collision on the A251 Faversham Road in Ashford.
The driver of a red Mazda 6 estate car is reported to have collided with a tree at around 6.30am on Saturday 9 September 2023. Officers attended the scene along with the South East Coast Ambulance Service where the driver in his 70s was pronounced deceased.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are carrying out enquiries and would like to hear from anyone who might have witnessed the incident.
They are also appealing for anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage taken in the area around the time to come forward.
