Investigators are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision on the M20.
At about 10.19pm on Friday 14 February 2025 a blue Kia Carens was travelling along the M20 coastbound when it stopped on the hard shoulder between junctions eight and nine. The driver had exited the vehicle and was struck by an Iveco box van.
The 71 year old man was declared deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been informed. A female passenger of the vehicle received minor injuries.
The driver of the van is assisting officers with their enquires.
Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit is investigating and urges anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them.
