Witnesses are sought after a man was allegedly stabbed and sprayed with an unknown substance in Ebbsfleet Valley.
Kent Police was called at 12.57pm on Wednesday 15 July 2026 to a report that a man had sustained arm injuries consistent with two stab wounds in Talbot Lane.
A substance, which is yet to be identified, was also sprayed in his face.
He was taken to a local hospital with injuries not considered to be life threatening. He has since been discharged.
An investigation is ongoing, including CCTV reviews and house to house enquiries. Forensic testing is also underway.
The victim has described being targeted by three men who are white, of slim build and wearing dark hoodies.
Chief Inspector Krissy Howlett said:
‘We appreciate the descriptions are unfortunately vague but we are hopeful someone in the area may have seen these men and could have seen where they came from or went to after the incident. ‘Thankfully events like these are rare but residents may notice increased police presence in the area while we continue our investigation. ‘We are aware there is speculation online and we seek to assure people that we believe the suspects may know the victim.’ ‘I urge anyone with relevant information or CCTV footage to call 01474 366149, quoting reference 46/114931/26. ‘You can also call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 or complete their online form.’
