Witnesses are sought following a report of a man acting suspiciously at a park in Faversham.
On Monday 1 June 2026, 3 women reported they were in Faversham Recreation Ground in Park Road when they were approached by a man who made them feel uncomfortable.
It is also reported a group of people had left the park a short time before the incident after also being made to feel uncomfortable by the same suspect.
Officers attended the park and arrested a 56 year old man from Faversham on suspicion of a public order offence. He has been bailed pending further enquiries.
As officers work to establish the full circumstances of the incident, they would like to speak to anyone else who may have been in the area between 1pm and 3.15pm, including anyone who may have witnessed the male acting suspiciously.
Anyone with information should contact Kent Police on 01795 419119 quoting 46/87223/26.
