New image released in Broadstairs robbery investigation

A new CCTV image has been released as an investigation continues into a robbery at a Broadstairs shop.

It took place shortly before 7pm on Friday 21 February 2025, at a store within the Broadstairs Retail Park.

Two men entered the store, and one approached a member of staff to request items which were behind the counter.

The man reportedly then typed out a number of threatening messages on his phone which he showed the member of staff as he demanded that the goods be handed over.

The second suspect then approached and took the items, including iPhones and headphones, before they both ran off.

The member of staff was not injured during the incident.

Officers are now able to issue an image of a man they would like to speak to as he may have information which could assist the investigation.
