Witnesses are being urged to come forward following a serious collision near the Dartford Crossing.
The incident, involving a white Iveco articulated HGV and a pedestrian, happened at 2.24pm on Saturday 14 October 2023.
Patrols and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the slip road from the Londonbound carriageway of the A2, just before it joins the A282 towards the Dartford Crossing.
A man in his 80s was taken to a London hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
A 59-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and taken into custody.
Enquiries into the incident are underway and officers would like to hear from anyone who saw the collision. Drivers with dashcam are also asked to check for footage that may assist the investigation.
