Detectives investigating a robbery in Ramsgate are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Two people have been charged as part of the ongoing investigation into the incident.
At around 7.15pm on Thursday 16 February 2023 a man in his thirties was carrying a bag of grocery shopping in Hardres Road, near the junction with St Luke’s Avenue, when the incident is reported to have taken place.
He reported he was approached by two people who spoke to him before his coat hood was pulled over his head and he was assaulted. A quantity of cash and the bag of shopping were stolen during the robbery.

Two people were charged with an offence of robbery on Friday 17 February.
Paul Jackson, 35 of Clements Road, Ramsgate appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court the following day where he was remanded and will next appear at Canterbury Crown Court on 20 March.
Rosie Richards, 29 of Thanet Road, Ramsgate was bailed to appear at Margate Magistrates’ Court on 27 April.
