Police are seeking to identify a van driver who may have important information about a fatal collision in Tunbridge Wells.
The vehicle, described as a van or possibly a minibus, was seen parked at the location of the collision in Culverden Down, which led to the death in hospital of a 75-year-old man.
Officers from the Serious Collison Investigation Unit (SCIU) have previously appealed for information into the incident, which happened at around 5.15pm on Saturday 7 January 2023.
The victim was struck by a white Volkswagen Transporter van and the driver of this vehicle stopped and was arrested. He remains on bail, until 28 March.
SCIU Detective Sergeant Chris Wade said: ‘The vehicle we are still looking to trace was parked immediately next to where the collision happened, on an area of the road at the entrance of Tunbridge Wells Football Club. 'It is important we establish who it belongs to, as it may contain dashcam footage which could be important to the investigation. If you can help, please contact SCIU on 01622 798538 quoting reference 003/23 or email [email protected].’
