An appeal for witnesses has been issued following a report of a serious assault in Canterbury.
Kent Police was called at around 12.15pm on Sunday 10 September 2023, after a man suffered an injury consistent with a stab wound on a footbridge between Tannery Field and Bingley Court.
The victim, who is in his 30s, was taken to a London hospital where his condition is described as serious.
The suspect is described as being a white male with short, curly black hair. He was wearing a black tracksuit.
An investigation into the incident has commenced, including examination of CCTV footage in the area and forensic analysis at the scene.

Drivers with dashcam and residents with private CCTV are also asked to check for relevant footage.
