Investigators have released a CCTV image following a report of a serious assault in Chatham.
The incident happened at around 1.50am on Tuesday 31 October 2023, as a man in his 20s was walking towards the bus station in Waterfront Way.
It is alleged the victim was approached by a group of men he did not know and was assaulted. He suffered serious head and facial injuries that required treatment at hospital.
Officers are now releasing a CCTV image of four people who may be able to assist with their enquiries. While the image is blurred it is hoped somebody may recognise them and contact the appeal line.
They are also asking drivers with dashcam and residents with private CCTV in the area to check for relevant footage.
