Serious collision in Maidstone

Witnesses are sought following a serious collision in Maidstone.
It was reported that at around 2.45pm on Sunday 1 June 2025, a grey Chevrolet Orlando car and a white Fiat 500 were involved in a collision in London Road near to the Queens Avenue junction.
A man in his 70s was taken to a London hospital in a life-threatening condition. A second man sustained minor injuries which required treatment at a local hospital.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
