Serious collision near Mereworth

Officers are appealing for information following a serious collision near Mereworth.

At around 5pm on Wednesday 31 May 2023, a green Kawasaki motorbike was travelling along Seven Mile Lane towards Wrotham, when it was involved in a collision with a white van, near the junction with The Alders.

The rider, a man in his 30s was treated for injuries at the scene and then taken to a London hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.

Appeal 

Investigating officer, PC Sebastien Hupje, said: ‘The white van left the scene towards Wrotham and we are completing enquiries to identify the driver.
‘We are appealing to anyone who saw what happened, or has relevant dashcam or CCTV footage, to come forward.’
