A stolen digger worth more than £15,000 was recovered by officers after it was taken from a building site in Sevenoaks.
The theft was reported to Kent Police on Monday 20 February 2023, after the digger along with a wacker plate worth around £1,000 were last seen in Lambarde Road on Friday 17 February.
Immediate enquiries were carried out and officers from the force’s Rural Task Force tracked both stolen items to Little Wood.
Patrols obtained an emergency warrant to be able to enter a garage where they suspected the items were being hidden. Once inside they recovered the property and enquiries are ongoing to locate the people responsible for the thefts.
