Investigators are seeking to reunite victims of crime with more than 60 suspected stolen tools seized in East Malling.
The items were recovered after a patrol stopped a vehicle in Temple Way in the early hours of Saturday 7 February 2026.
The white Ford Transit van was brought to a halt after the officers believed the passenger might be in possession of controlled drugs.
The two occupants were arrested and multiple tools along with balaclavas, gloves, and nitrous oxide cannisters were recovered. The two men from Bromley were later bailed pending further investigation.
PC Thomas Wild said:
‘Enquiries into the seized tools are underway and we believe we have linked some to 10 burglaries across the southeast, dating back several years.
‘We are now appealing to victims of burglary and theft who think we may have recovered their stolen property to call us. You will be asked to provide proof that the item is yours.’
