Investigators are appealing for witnesses following an arrest in connection with a reported assault in Chatham.
The incident happened outside the Waggon at Hale public house in Capstone Road, at around 10.15pm on Friday 18 July 2025.
The victim, who is in his 30s, had left the premises when it is alleged he was assaulted outside by a man he did not know.
The suspect left the scene and the victim went to hospital for treatment to a facial injury.
Patrols attended the public house and a 34-year-old man from Chatham was arrested later the same evening at a local address.
He was conditionally bailed on the following day to return to the police station pending further enquiries.
Officers are urging anyone who saw the incident but who has not yet spoken to the police to contact the appeal line.
