Witnesses and dashcam footage are sought by officers investigating a report of a serious assault near Paddock Wood.
Kent Police was called to the incident on a roundabout near The Hop Farm in Beltring at 12.30am on Wednesday 17 June 2026.
It is alleged a man was assaulted at the side of the road by a person he knew.
Officers attended the scene alongside South East Coast Ambulance Service, and the victim was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries. He has since been discharged.
A 32 year old man from Ashford was arrested on suspicion of assault and drink driving and taken into custody.
An investigation is underway to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
