Detectives are investigating after a teenage boy reported being assaulted in Canterbury.
The 15-year-old victim was walking on his own in a field in Thanington Road, near to a community centre, on 19 June 2023 at around 7pm. He reported being approached by a group of other children who hit him multiple times.
One of the suspects is said to have a cast on his leg and in some instances it is alleged the group used a crutch to inflict head injuries, which required hospital treatment.
The victim managed to seek help at the local community centre and the assault was reported to Kent Police.
