Detectives are appealing for a group of boys who came to the aid of a woman in Canterbury to come forward.
On Friday 1 August 2025 the 18 year old victim reported she was approached by a man in Westgate Gardens just before 5pm before being taken to a property in St Peter’s Street.
The victim is not reported to have been physically harmed before they left the address and returned to Westgate Gardens at about 5.46pm.
She reported that three boys, aged between 15 and 17, came to her help and the suspect left the scene. The boys then left on a bus heading towards Whitstable.
Kent Police was notified, and a man was arrested shortly afterwards.
