Vehicles targeted by Faversham thief

A suspect is being sought after three vehicles were targeted overnight in Faversham.

Kent Police was called to reports of a man opening a car boot and stealing items in Springhead Road at around 12.15am on Thursday 6 August 2026.

Around 30 minutes later, a man was interrupted as he searched through a resident’s vehicle in Blaxland Close and, shortly afterwards, a Whiting Crescent homeowner reported someone acting suspiciously around her car.

Officers attended and searched the area without success. Witnesses described the suspect as a tall man of slim build wearing a dark green hooded top and black trousers.

Investigators are appealing to witnesses who have not spoken to the police to contact them. They would also like to hear from anyone with CCTV or doorbell footage that might assist their enquiries.
