An appeal for witnesses has been issued after a woman was assaulted while walking dogs in Deal.
The assault was reported to have taken place at around 5.15pm on Monday 27 May 2024 as the victim, a woman in her fifties, walked her dogs with a friend, in Wellington Parade, Walmer.
They approached an unknown woman who reportedly shouted at them, before hitting the victim to the ground and repeatedly kicking her in the head. The victim sustained head injuries and bruising.
The suspect was described as holding a scooter and walking a German Shepherd-type dog.
Officers would like to speak to any witnesses or anyone in that area who may have private CCTV which could assist the investigation.
