Witnesses are sought after a woman reported she was assaulted in Chatham.
The incident took place between 1.56am and 2.56am in the High Street and continued into Railway Street on Saturday 27 June 2026.
The victim was assaulted by an unknown man, sustaining a broken ankle and bruising to her face. The suspect was described as about 5ft and was wearing dark coloured clothing. It was reported she was helped by an unknown man at the scene.
Officers are carrying out enquiries into the incident including reviewing CCTV footage from the High Street to Railway Street and would urge anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have any information to get in touch.
