Witnesses are sought by officers investigating an assault at a petrol station in Ramsgate.
Kent Police was called to a Texaco garage on West Cliff Road just before 3.30pm on Thursday 23 April 2026.
A driver on the forecourt was approached by a man on foot. It is reported that a disturbance broke out and the driver was assaulted. Cars were also allegedly targeted.
Officers attended and enquiries were completed at the scene. Injuries requiring medical attention were not reported.
A short while later, a man in his 30s was arrested nearby. He was taken into custody and has been bailed with conditions while enquiries continue.
An investigation is ongoing and officers are appealing to anyone with relevant information, who has not yet spoken to police, to come forward.
