Detectives investigating an assault in Chatham are appealing for witnesses.
Kent Police was called to New Road Avenue at about 4.20am on Saturday 22 November 2025 following a report that a man in his 20s had been assaulted by another man.
They had been in a nearby bar before an altercation took place outside which resulted in the victim being punched to the floor.
He was taken to a local hospital with head injuries and remains there in a stable condition.
Officers attended but the suspect had left the scene prior to their arrival. He is described as being a white man, 5ft 6in, with blond hair and wearing a grey/black jacket.
