Kent Police is investigating a report that a man was seriously assaulted at a residential address in Gillingham Road.
Patrols and South East Coast Ambulance Service were called to the incident at 6.08pm on Friday 31 August 2026.
The 40 year old victim was treated for injuries consistent with stab wounds and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. He has since been discharged.
It is understood the victim knew his assailant and an investigation into the circumstances is underway.
A 33 year old local woman who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender was later conditionally bailed pending further enquiries.
