Witnesses are sought following an assault in Sittingbourne.
On Saturday 27 June 2026, Kent Police was called to West Street at about 10.20pm where it was alleged a man had been assaulted outside a pub.
Officers attended the scene where the victim, a man in his 20s, had been punched in the face. He was taken to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries and has since been discharged.
A short while later, officers arrested a 23 year old man in connection with the incident, he has since been released without charge.
The suspect is described as a tall, white man, about 25 years old with blonde hair. He was wearing a white football t-shirt with blue jeans and a white baseball cap.
