Witness appeal following attempted burglary in Gravesend

Witnesses and private CCTV footage are sought following a report of an attempted burglary in Gravesend.

Kent Police was called at 8.13pm on Tuesday 22 September 2026 to a report of 3 males attempting to break into the property in Vanquisher Walk.

It is alleged the suspects, thought to be aged between 15 and 18 and wearing dark clothing and balaclavas, smashed the glass in the front door and internal porch door.

They were disturbed by neighbours and thought to have left the scene empty handed in a sliver vehicle.

Officers attended and carried out initial enquiries, including a review of available CCTV.

An investigation is underway to establish the identities of the suspects and officers are asking anyone with private CCTV, dash cam or who may have seen any suspicious activity in Vanquisher Walk or Thong Lane between 8pm and 9.15pm to get in touch.
