Witnesses and dashcam footage are sought following a collision in Gravesend.
On Saturday 11 October 2025 officers requested a vehicle to stop in Bligh Way in Rochester.
A pursuit began and the vehicle drove off along Watling Street, and then to the A2 London-bound between the Medway and Shorne exits, reaching speeds of up to 100mph.
The vehicle, a silver BMW 320D collided with another vehicle, a red BMW saloon at about 2.45pm near to the exit for Shorne Country Park.
Two people inside the red BMW, a man and a child received minor injuries and were taken to hospital as a precaution.
No-one was inside the silver BMW when officers arrived and following an area search no suspects were located.
On 14 October 2025, an 18 year old man from Gravesend was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to stop. He has been bailed while enquiries continue.
