Witnesses are sought following reports of a dog being dangerously out of control in Sheerness.
At around 5pm on Tuesday 24 March 2026, a dog reportedly escaped from its owner and ran towards a man and his dog on Scrapsgate Road, Minster on Sea.
The victim sustained multiple cuts to his hands, while his dog suffered an injury to its neck which required stitches.
The dog involved is described as a Border Terrier and Cockapoo mix.
Officers have carried out a number of enquiries since the incident to identify the dog and its owner and are now appealing to the public for information.
