Witnesses are sought following a report a man was assaulted in Maidstone.
Between 6.30pm and 6.50pm on Tuesday 6 January 2026, it was reported that a man was spat at and assaulted as he got out of his car in Loose Road near the junction with Armstrong Road. Racist verbal abuse was also directed at the victim during the incident.
The victim suffered injuries and attended a local hospital for treatment.
The suspect was believed to be another car driver who, shortly beforehand, had been seen to drive dangerously before pulling over. The vehicle was reported to be similar to a white Toyota car.
He is described as white, 5 ft 7 ins, with a medium build and aged in his 30s. He had a short red-blonde beard and a neck tattoo. He wore dark tracksuit bottoms with a matching sweatshirt, and a dark coloured beanie hat.
