Detectives investigating an incident in Canterbury city centre in which two victims were assaulted are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Kent Police was called to Canterbury Lane at around 4.30am on Sunday 29 March 2026.
Two men had sustained multiple head and facial injuries, after a disturbance reportedly broke out near a taxi rank a short while earlier.
Officers attended along with paramedics and the men, aged in their 30s, were taken to a local hospital for treatment. They were later discharged.
Six men, aged between 19 and 42 and from the local area, were arrested on suspicion of assault and have been bailed while enquiries continue.
An investigation is ongoing and anyone with relevant information, who has not yet spoken to officers, is urged to come forward.
