Investigators are appealing for information following a serious assault in Canterbury.
Kent Police was called to the incident in New Ruttington Lane at 10.20pm on Friday 26 June 2026.
Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene, and an 18-year-old man was treated for injuries consistent with a stab wound.
He was taken to a London hospital where his condition is described as serious but stable. His injuries are not believed to life threatening or changing at this time.
Two men aged 19 and 20, both Afghan nationals, were arrested later the same evening in connection with the incident. They have been released on conditional bail whilst enquiries continue.
An investigation into the circumstances is underway and officers are urging anyone who saw the incident and has not yet spoken to the police to contact them. Motorists with dashcam and residents or business owners with private CCTV are also asked to check for relevant CCTV footage.
