Witnesses are urged to come forward after two men were seriously assaulted in Maidstone.
Kent Police was called at 3.33pm on Wednesday 11 March 2026 to County Road after reports that two man in their 20s had received injuries consistent with knife wounds.
Officers attended and the victims were being treated by paramedics before they were taken to hospital. Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening or life changing.
Initial enquiries were carried out at the scene, and the cordon was lifted at 8.30pm.
Anyone who was in the County Road area, including Sandling Road, Week Street and Holland Road, between 2pm and 4pm and who may have any information or any video footage, are urged to contact police on 01622 604100 quoting reference 46/39519/26.
Detective Chief Inspector Jonathan Faulkner said:
'I would like to reassure members of the community that incidents like this are rare, and we are working at pace to find those responsible.
'The public may notice increased patrols in the area over the coming days.
'While the investigation is still in its early stages, we are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed anything unusual or who may have relevant information to come forward. Even the smallest bit of information could be useful.'
