Officers are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Ashford.
It was reported that a blue Kia Rio was involved in a collision with a lamppost in Forge Lane, near the junction with Norwood Gardens, at around 11.10pm on Tuesday 25 June 2024.
A man who was in the vehicle sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to a London hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
A 21-year-old man from Ashford was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and was taken into custody.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are working to establish the full circumstances, and are appealing for anyone who saw the collision, or the vehicle beforehand, to come forward.
