Officers investigating a serious collision in Aylesford are appealing for witnesses.
At 7am on Friday 26 July 2024, Kent Police was alerted to a two-vehicle collision in London Road.
The incident, involving a green Ford Focus and a white Ford Transit Connect, happened close to the junction of New Road.
Patrols attended the scene alongside South East Coast Ambulance Service, where a man in his 30s was airlifted to a London hospital for treatment to his injuries. Another man in his 20s was taken to a local hospital as a precautionary measure.
A 24-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence and remains in custody.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, but has not yet spoken to police, is urged to call 999, quoting reference 26-0156.
Motorists with dashcam and residents with private CCTV are also asked to check for relevant footage.
