Witnesses to a serious collision on the M20 are being urged to come forward.
At around 9.42am on Friday 22 July 2022, a white Peugeot Boxer van was involved in a collision with a lorry, on the M20 coastbound between J11a and J12.
Officers attended, along with Kent Fire and Rescue Service and the South East Coast Ambulance Service.
The driver of the van, a man in his 40s was airlifted to a London hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
Officers from Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing to anyone who saw the incident, or who has dashcam footage that could help their enquiries, to contact them
