Witness appeal following fatal collision on the M20

Witnesses and dashcam footage are sought following a fatal collision near Ashford.

Kent Police was called at 3.16pm on Thursday 5 June 2025 to the incident on the coastbound side of the M20 carriageway, at the junction nine slip road.

Officers attended alongside South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue Service, where a lorry was found to have left the carriageway.

The driver of the vehicle, a man in his 60s, was confirmed deceased at the scene. His next of kin has been made aware.

An investigation into the circumstances is underway.
