Investigators are appealing for information following a fatal collision in Ramsgate.
At about 9.55am on Friday 9 January 2026 a blue Ford Fiesta was travelling along Newington Road, when for unknown reasons collided with railings near to the railway bridge.
Officers attended, along with SECAMB and the driver, a man in his 70s from Ramsgate was pronounced deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for anyone who may have seen the vehicle before the collision or who may have dashcam footage to get in touch.
