Witnesses, dashcam footage and private CCTV are sought following allegations a woman was spat on in Tunbridge Wells.
Kent Police was notified of an alleged assault which happened in Cornford Lane, at around 1.10pm on Saturday 15 November 2025.
It is reported a man driving in the direction of Pembury verbally abused and spat at an occupant of a vehicle travelling in the opposite direction.
The suspect is believed to have been driving a light-coloured car, possibly a Vauxhall Corsa. It is alleged he was behaving in an aggressive manner towards other road users prior to the incident.
The man is described as white, in his early 50s, and of a stocky build. He has greying hair, which is longer at the front, and was wearing a grey t-shirt at the time.
An investigation is underway to establish the full circumstances.
Anyone with information is urged to call the west Kent appeals line on 01622 604100, quoting reference 16-0408.
Local residents with private CCTV or drivers with dashcam who may have been in the area at the time of the incident, are also asked to check for footage.
