Witnesses sought after pet duck attacked in Eastchurch

Witnesses are sought after a pet duck was attacked in Eastchurch.

Kent Police was called to a property in Church Road at about 9.37pm on Saturday 11 July 2026 after the homeowner reported that 3 young people were in her garden and were holding the duck down while plucking and cutting its feathers. She reported that one of them was in possession of a knife.

Officers attended and are carrying out enquiries to identify the suspects.

They are described as being white boys aged 14/15 years old. The first boy is described as being tall with blonde hair, wearing an England football shirt and chino style shorts.

The second boy is described as being of a stocky build, with dark blonde/brown hair and wearing a black t-shirt and black shorts.

The third boy is described as being of a slim build with blonde hair, wearing an England football shirt and blue shorts.
