Information is being sought following a report that a man was raped in Margate.
The alleged incident took place between 8.30pm and 9.30pm on Tuesday 21 January 2025.
The victim reported that he had been walking on the promenade between the Lido and Newgate Gap near Ethelbert Crescent when he was approached by another man and the assault took place.
The suspect is described as slim, under 5ft 5ins and aged in his early 20s. It is believed he was wearing a black hooded coat, black tracksuit, and black trainers.
Detectives are carrying out enquiries at the scene.
